Booster Club
Welcome to the Mountainside High School Wildcat Booster Club.

The Mountainside High School Booster Club is made up of the parents and supporters of West High School athletics. We provide financial support to all teams that are in need of uniforms, training aids and equipment that is not provided by the school.

If you are the parent of a student athlete at Mountainside High School – you should be a member of the Booster Club. Mountainside High School student athletes need our support and we can not provide it unless we have your participation.

We meet on the first Tuesday of Every Month in the Library.

Welcome Aboard!! The Booster Club is please to announce that Seana McGonagal has agreed to be our BOOSTER CLUB PRESIDENT next year. Thanks Seana!!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Wildcat Booster Club?

The Wildcat Booster Club is an organization composed of parents, staff, alumni and friends that supports all sports at Mountainside High School by raising money to purchase supplies, equipment, uniforms, and/or capital items beyond what the school athletic budget provides. Each of the 22 sports at Mountainside, plus the Spirit Squad, has an adult representative on the Wildcat Booster Club Board of Directors, which meets monthly.

How is money raised?

Money is raised through Booster Club memberships and fundraising activities. Throughout the year, the Booster Club sponsors a golf outing, concessions at various athletic events, spirit wear sales, and sales of specialty products. During this past school year, the Booster Club provided over $30,000 to Mountainside High School athletics. You are invited to volunteer your time and energy to support these fundraising activities.

Why should I join?

By becoming a Booster Club member, you not only will help our young athletes have a more enjoyable and rewarding high school experience, but you also will make new friends and derive satisfaction in knowing that you have enriched the Mountainside High School community.

What is a Sport Rep?

A Sport Representative (Sport Rep) is a member of the Mountainside High School Wildcat Booster Club who, in addition to the responsibilities as a Booster Club member, has agreed to participate in fundraising activities of the Booster Club and to act as a liaison between the Booster Club and a sport.

The Sport Rep will actively communicate with the coaching staff of the sport to help assure a successful program. This will include coordinating annual funding requests of the sport, and may also include assisting in sport-related programming such as parent night, team banquets, game programs, and team rosters, as requested by the coaching staff.

The Sport Rep will also communicate with team parents in the coordination of fundraising activities, help in the coordination of other team activities as needed, and, as appropriate, report significant team events at Club Board meetings.

In short, the Sport Rep:

Is a liaison between sport and Booster Club;
Is a current member of the Booster Club (dues paid annually);
Attends monthly board meetings; and,
Participates in and coordinates fundraising activities.

If you would like to volunteer, see the current list of officers and reps and their contact information by clicking on the 'Officers and Sports Reps' link in the upper left column.
